My name is Yanina and I teach critical alignment therapy and yoga. I am also a certified Hatha-yoga teacher, but at the moment I'm more into teaching CATY and exploring the fascinating world of human anatomy.
I know what it is like to feel constant tension. I am well acquainted with regular lower back, neck, and knee pain because of my sport and circus background, and also my ambitious and unconscious Hatha yoga practice. I know how many people experience constant discomfort in their body and how that affects their quality of life. We are all affected by stress and it leaves traces of tension in our body. The stress shackles us and our energy.
I want to change this situation, and I know that it is possible. I sincerely believe in the method and this trust came from personal practice and self-research. Everything Gert van Leeuwen, the founder of the method, talks about can be physically experienced and you can see the changes here and now; not in you 'next' life.
Critical alignment yoga brings us back to ourselves and our nature: our original source. We restore the dialog with our own body, we find the connection between the mental, emotional and physical, and, as a result, we come to a unified whole*.
