In my childhood and youth, I devoted a lot of time to training as an artistic gymnast. My body, being very flexible, suffered a lot. In particular, my spine. Day by day I learned to tolerate my pain, or to live with it side by side as if with a flat mate. Then pain gradually became a part of me.
For many years I was looking for ways to return to a pain-free life. To remember that light sensation of myself. I tried all existing treatments. However, that didn't save me from undergoing surgery - the truncation of a herniated disc.
Fortunately, I happened to attend Gert van Leeuwen's workshop at the Yoga Journal conference, and afterwards I felt that lightness I had been after for such a long time. A few years later I became a CATY instructor.
This method is helping me and I strongly feel it in my body; I believe I'm on the right track. In my classes I pay a lot of attention to the holistic movement and position of the body, and I talk you through the experience explaining the sensation you may feel in the body. I've been through a lot of things myself, and I know how injuries and disorder in the body can affect one's life.
Breath will fill the body and mind, bringing lightness. My style is empathy and softness, but at the same time inner strength and desire to help my students to go through this amazing process of healing. Slowly but surely towards a new pain-free light body. I give individual and group sessions.
